Alfie 
We chose Alfie for character one because like the character, he is tall and male. He also had the determination needed for the character, and was able to play the intimating and merciless detective which is often found in film noir.

Saffron
Saffron was chosen for character two because she fit the description well, and was able to preserve the fundamental element of indifference of the character while remaining defiant. She was also able to deliver the last line of the scene well, so the ending was efficient and able to show the characters boldness well.
